A new issue of the Northern Pass Landowner Newsletter was distributed recently. This issue features an overview of our improved route, which was developed over the past two years in response to public feedback.

From the newsletter…

Over the past two years, the Northern Pass project team has been meeting with residents and officials to answer questions and listen to feedback about our proposed route for the 187-mile-long transmission line. Based on what we heard, we went back to the drawing board to design a route that responds to concerns about potential view impacts and property rights. We are now pleased to announce a new and better route.

If you live in one of the towns along the project’s preliminary preferred route, you may have seen our mailer relating to Northern Pass job opportunities.

We anticipate a wide variety of project jobs becoming available, including those listed on our new Job Opportunities page.

In the future, we’ll post information on forthcoming job fairs. You can learn about the job fairs in advance if you fill out this form, or contact us via The Northern Pass Jobs Hotline at (855)NPT-JOBS.

We’ve received plenty of questions regarding the Northern Pass Project. This week (Jan. 31) we produced and mailed a document that provides an overview of the project and provides answers to many of the most often asked questions.

The mailing was made mainly to residents of the towns along the preliminary proposed route of the project.

As always, you can contact us with any specific question you may have. We’ll do our best to promptly respond.
